A List of Fresh Produce at the Joburg Market

Ever wondered about the variety of fresh produce that you can buy at the Joburg Market (aka Joburg Fresh Produce Market)? The market supplies more than 120 types of fruits and vegetables, from artichokes to yellow peppers, and from apples to watermelons.

For a current list that displays quantities and values sold, visit the Daily Prices page of the Joburg Market’s website. On that page, sales figures are updated daily and include month to date values.

Products sold at the Fruit Hub vary with the agricultural seasons, though off-season commodities are sometimes made available by importers.  In addition to the fresh produce hubs, there are wholesalers and retailers of dry and processed foods at the market. They are located in buildings next to the vegetable, fruit and potato hubs. Their products are not listed on this page.
